Maria Redko

Maria Redko is a painter from Belarus. She studied Art and Pedagogic in the Pushkin State University in Brest/Belarus and painting in the Berlin Weissensee School of Art. She has held 8 solo and group exhibitions in Belarus, Sweden, Poland, Hungary, Russia. Maria won the art contest organized by the famous Russian designer, blogger and traveler Artemy Lebedev for the post of the illustrator of ethnographical expedition on the Balkan peninsula, and a gold medal in graphic contest in Hungary. Maria has also created illustrations for 2 books. In her art Maria explores the contradictory and deep nature of man; she seeks to broadcast in her pictures the light and the good of life. In 2011 Maria made a short feature film about an artist, so it was very interesting for her again to take part in the project, where the theme of painting and cinema connect together.  Loving Vincent was an exciting and unique experience, meeting wonderful artists and friends in the team.
