Joanna Śmielowska

Joanna Smielowska is a painter, drawer, graphic and architecture decorator. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań and the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw. She has taken part in several artistic exhibitions in the country and abroad. She is inspired by a diversity of influences; the old masters of renaissance, impressionistic colour, and the modern trends of expression. Her art balances between a poetry and realism, dream and reality, harmony and hidden thought. Space, move, shadow and light play the main role in her paintings and this was why she was so interested in Loving Vincent. She is also now working with literature, illustrating poetry texts and books for children.
