Sasha comes from a family of artists, and has been painting since she was able to pick up a brush. In addition to being a classically trained artist, Sasha has a Masters of Arts from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography.
She has loved the work of Van Gogh since she first saw it, and has visited most of the locations that appear in the film. The project has become for her a great experience and perfect combination of oil-painting and filmmaking. Sasha works full time as a professional painter between Moscow and Barcelona.
