Mark grew up by the sea just south of the Scottish Border, where he was inspired to become a painter, animator, cartoonist and poet. He graduated from the Edinburgh College of Art with a first-class degree in Animation, then came to paint during Loving Vincent's final months of production. He enjoys storytelling in all its forms and is currently developing illustrated books and short films.
