Kamil Lisek born 1980 in Gdańsk. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. In 2007 obtained his diploma in painting at the studio led by Prof. Maciej Świeszewski. He often takes part i various exhibitions and has been successful in several competitions. During his study he received awards from the Ministry of Culture and from President of city Gdańsk. In 2006 he won First Prize „Artistic Journey of Hestia” and as a result he spent a month in New York City. He was awarded Grand Prix in the competition held by Franciszka Eibisch’s Foundation. He is best known for his attention to detail in his strong color paintings. He is also interested in graphics techniques.
