Sarah Wimperis studied Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art, graduating with a degree in Sculpture in 1981. She has worked as an artist for the BBC and The National Trust. Sarah has painted and exhibited in China, Russia, Israel and Norway, living and teaching art in Norway and France. She returned to Cornwall and started a mural company before becoming a professional illustrator. A painter of place she is drawn to homes, gardens and landscapes that she captures in richly saturated palettes of oil or watercolour paint. Sarah read about Loving Vincent on the internet. She was very happy to have the opportunity to be part of a team of very talented international artists, and found it felt a bit like being back at art college.
