Mayra Hernandez Rios is an animator from Mexico City. She graduated from the Edinburgh College of Art.

She was extremely grateful for the opportunity of participating in Loving Vincent, and utterly inspired by all the people involved. While what each one made in length was short, the effort of everybody joined to create something bigger, a beautiful expression of art. Mayra was amused at the colour Prussian blue making the studio turn green little by little, and is thankful for all the Saturday meals, and friendliness of everybody.

Currently she is looking to learn more about environment conservation, and continues to develop artistic projects.
