Dena Peterson

An award-winning artist, Dena’s paintings have been exhibited in regional, national, and international shows, including the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Birds in Art at the Leigh-Yawkey Woodson Musuem and national traveling show. Her work hangs in private collections throughout the United States. Public art commissions include The Cherry Tree Heart, 2008 and Postcards from Loveland, Transformations 2011. She received her training at the Loveland Academy of Fine Arts, the Art Students League of Denver, and the Scottsdale Artists School, where she was selected for the prestigious Wade Fairchild Memorial Scholarship. Mentors include Kevin MacPherson, Jay Moore, and Kevin Weckbach. She is a signature member of The American Impressionist Society and Women Artists of the West and Associate Member of Oil Painters of America and Plein Air Artists Colorado.

She was honored to be selected as one of 125 international artists for the film, truly a labour of love and tribute to the life and struggles of Van Gogh as told through his paintings.
