One Day Painting Sale 29.7

On 29th July Vincent van Gogh died from a gunshot wound. The man was carrying nothing; his hands clasped to a fresh bullet wound leaking blood from his belly. This was Vincent van Gogh, then a little known artist; now the most famous artist in the world. His tragic death has long been known, what has remained a mystery is how and why he came to be shot.

To mark the anniversary of Vincent’s death, we are putting 29 new paintings from the production of Loving Vincent on sale. These 29 paintings have been specially selected as co-director Hugh Welchman's favourite paintings from the lowest price bracket, all on sale at €1000.

All of these paintings, plus existing merchandise including paintings, prints and posters will be available at 7% off for 24 hours only on 29.7. This is a one day only offer, and once the film is released, the prices will rise so this is your only chance to own a unique piece of film history at a bargain price.

Hugh Welchman discusses the paintings that will be sold in detail below. The 29 paintings will be reduced in price here on LovingVincent.com on July 29th.

UPDATE! Due to overwhelming demand our website is struggling so the sale has been extended until Midnight (UTC+2) on Monday!
