Bill played the title role of the Dragon at the National Theatre (Olivier) after a long association with the Theatre Royal, Stratford East. Recent films include Alice Through The looking Glass, Remainder, A Song for Marion, Pusher, Sky in Bloom, Weak at Denise. On TV, Bill has featured in The Great Train Robbery, Atlantis, Da Vinci’s Demons, Merlin and all 3 series of Cutting It.
After 553 characters over 43 years of acting, many of criminals or patients, Dr Mazery is the first Doctor he has ever played. He has yet to play a policeman.
